In this tutorial, i am going to show you how to install and uninstall discord on Linux ubuntu 22.04 using the terminal.

How to Install and Uninstall Discord on Ubuntu 22.04

Use the following steps to install and uninstall discord on Linux ubuntu 22.04 using terminal:

  • Step 1 – Update System Packages
  • Step 2 – Install Discord
  • Step 3 – Uninstall Discord from Ubuntu 22.04

Step 1 – Update System Packages

First of all, open the terminal or command line and run the following command on command line to update system packages:

sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade

Step 2 – Install Discord

Run the following command on command line to install discord on your system using Snap:

sudo snap install discord

If snap is not installed, so run the following command on command line to install it:

sudo apt install snapd

Step 3 – Uninstall Discord from Ubuntu 22.04

If we wish to uninstall discord using Snap. Then run the following command on the command line to uninstall discord from ubuntu 22.04:

sudo snap remove discord
